We are beyond proud to announce that Steve Shover has been recognized at Gillette Stadium this morning as a Myra Kraft Community MVP from the Patriots Foundation! The Kraft Family has generously recognized Steve’s commitment to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Burlington with a check to the organization for $10,000! We also want to take a moment to congratulate all of the other award winners today, the stadium was filled with inspiring world-changers! We were honored to meet Patriots owner, Robert Kraft, Josh Kraft, CEO of the Patriots Foundation, Hall of Fame Linebacker, Andre Tippett, and enjoyed a visit from current Patriot, Deatrich Wise Jr!

Steve has been one of the biggest supporters of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Burlington for more than three decades. It all started 32 years ago when he started a “McBingo Night” fundraiser. Since its inception McBingo has raised more than one million dollars to support children and families who are battling life-threatening illnesses. Steve has been on the board of directors for many years and launched an event called Jingle Bell Express, a holiday train ride which has become the largest annual fundraiser. A longtime employee of JetBlue, Steve worked with his company to create “Dream Flight”, a free flight over Mount Washington with VIP treatment for children and their families.

On June 12th, we traveled to Gillette Stadium to celebrate this incredible honor and Steve was presented with a check for $10,000 for RMHC Burlington!

Steve you are such a gift to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Burlington; thank you for your lifelong commitment and supporting our mission for so many years!
