• The majority of our funding comes from individual donations and grants.
• We receive no government funding.
• We have several corporate sponsors that support our events and programs through in-kind donations, third party fundraisers and event sponsorship.

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Burlington, VT is proud to call McDonald’s our mission partner. We are a local, autonomous, 501(c) 3 charitable organization, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Burlington has licensing agreements with Ronald McDonald Houses Charities Global and McDonald’s to operate trademarked programs of RMHC. To maintain the licensing agreement, each local RMHC is held to a high standard of program excellence and fiscal accountability. RMHC of Burlington was established locally with the help of the Kroc family and McDonald’s.

Vermont and New York based McDonald’s owner/operators and the entire McDonald’s family generously support RMHC by sponsoring fundraising partnerships in their restaurants every day (e.g., in store promotions, collection cannister and round up) sponsoring special events (e.g., shamrock shakes and happy meal promotions) and making personal financial and volunteer contributions. Ronald McDonald House Charities Global provides training support, oversight of the global charity and assistance in securing in-kind gifts and services from venders (e.g. Kohler, Lazy boy, Coca-Cola, Corian , Benjamin Moore etc.)

Support from our McDonald’s family comprises approximately 25% of our budget. We rely on and must earn the charitable support of our local community to generously provide approximately 75% of our annual income through private, charitable dollars. We appreciate our strong partnership with McDonald’s, and our work is only possible with additional meaningful support from people like you from the communities we operate in and serve.
