Burlington, VT, September 13th – Community members, RMHC supporters and Care Mobile staff gathered on Friday to celebrate a decade of bringing free dental screenings and care to Vermont’s under served youth population.
The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile is a 40-foot, 26,000 pound traveling dental clinic donated by Ronald McDonald House Charities Global. Operated and staffed by professionals at the Plainfield Health Center, this state-of-the-art vehicle provides comprehensive pediatric dental care to children (ages 0-20 years) primarily in the Northeast Kingdom.
In the first half of the year, over 400 children were served at 22 participating Vermont schools! The Fall semester schedule looks to be just as busy!
On September 13th, the Care Mobile made a visit to the Ronald McDonald House in Burlington to show community members, RMHC supporters and volunteers what it’s all about!
The mission of the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile is to provide free, quality dental services to Vermont children in under served communities.
A special Thank You to the Young Realtors Network of Clinton County and Reinhart Foodservice to provided the spread and support for this event!
